Yep. Especially since at one stage there were at least three competing
projects inu development - a new TV show, a movie based on teh TV show,
and a new movie that completely ignored the TV show. :-\

Similarly there were also three competing "Battlestar Galactica"
projects - one a sequel to the Glen Larson original TV series, one a
sequel to the Moore-Ron TV show, and one that somehow was meant to
   combine the two TV shows.
