   "Her career spanned over 70 years" (according to the Wikipedia page)...   
   no it didn't. Her career started in 1935 and petered out around 1970   
   (probably not helped by being 'blacklisted' in the 1950s), so that's 35   
   years. Since then she's only done 5 or 6 things, one of which is a
