   Lance Kerwin, one time teen heart throb &   
   favorite of the fan magazines of the 1970s   
   is dead at 62.   
      
   Lance charted a truly meteoric rise with a mere   
   three years between his first IMDB credit, a 1974   
   episode of "Emergency" to starring in his is iconic   
   role as the handsome James at 15.   
      
   Sadly, it didn't last long for him. Although he never   
   stopped finding work -- his last IMDB credit is dated   
   for 2022, he would never again achieve stardom   
   following his role as James. The problem wasn't him,   
   or most likely wasn't. I always imagined that someone   
   like him was born too late in life, that society was in   
   search of something gritty than a clean, pretty white   
   boy whose big dilemma in life is moving to Boston.   
      
   Not that there was a lot of sex & violence at the time,   
   but he was in competition with the likes of Fantasy   
   Island and The Love Boat.   
      
   Let's hope that he's found the stardom in the next   
   world that eluded him here.
