From: wlah...@gmail.com              Hey,              A bitter hit man on a job at Christmas in New York City realizes his life       sucks and that he wants to get out of the business. Things don’t go       according to plan. Long before hit men became the subjects of crime films and       rattling off one-liners and        existential gibberish, “Blast of Silence” took the story to its logical       conclusion at the same time landing a hard right on the jaw of Christmas       movies.               Shot on location in New York City, in black and white, this is a brutal look       at humanity that has no time for redemption. Using a cast of unknowns that       remained unknown (with the exception of Lionel Stander, the narrator) works in       its favor.               Written, directed and starring Allen Baron with Molly McCarthy, Larry Tucker,       and Peter Clume, among others. Cinematography by Merrill Brody (who also       produced) and music by Meyer Kupferman.              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
