   Yes, Tolkien instinctively delineates class perfectly in the characters'   
   speech. It is especially notable in the speech of men and hobbits, but   
   even the Elves you can spot class -- look at the elves who are doing   
   beer barrels in HOBBIT, versus Elrond.
