It's not a matter of vocal equipment or training, but rather of
regional varieties of pronunciation. Your regional variety does not
make the distinction between "horse" and "hoarse"; neither does mine
(Buffalo NY). Intensive speech therapy? Bah, pfui -- this is flummery.

If you find yourself in a situation where your variety of English
pronunciation is causing real problems, such as people having trouble
understanding you, then coaching (not therapy, good grief) may be
helpful. I very much doubt you will have such problems anywhere in the
   USA or Canada.
