   Okay, you're right, but I think only Win 98 SE, the last version of 98,   
   recognized stuff plugged into USB ports.  Win 98 won't see anything through   
   USB ports unless you install service packs.   
      
   Useful to know if you write with obsolete computers....   
   Last compatible versions for Win 98:   
   Word/Excel 2002 (both in Office XP)   
   Adobe Acrobat/Reader V.5   
   Internet Explorer 6 SP1   
      
   Win 98 + Word 2002 with a full novel ms loaded will consume about 80Mb RAM.
