   I thought he was talking about his recent successful kickstarter   
   campaign.   
      
   But tie-in fiction is a point.  There you have a situation where there   
   is an audience for the source material, and you are catapulting off of   
   that.   
      
   Possibly Seawasp's book also had this going for it?   
      
   I would be very reluctant to ascribe his kickstarter's success to the   
   fact that it was for an Oz book, but maybe I'm naive.
