   It's very grafifying that you seem to think that because you were   
   successful, I, too, would be successful.  But I'm not sold on the   
   theory.   
      
   I head over to LibraryThing and see that you have over 700 of your books   
   catalogued there as compared to 50 of mine, and I think, yeah, $7K to   
   $500.  That's what I thought.   
      
      
   But I agree with your assessment of kickstarter.  I just think that   
   putting up a campaign right now would be premature.   
      
      
   Kickstarter isn't just a good place to get funding, it's also an   
   excellient publicity vehicle in and of itself... If the campaign is   
   successful it would do me a world of good.  But if I fail: there is such   
   a thing as poor publicity.   
      
   So I want to wait until the odds are more in my favor.   
      
   It's not like I'm putting out unedited books in the meantime.  I do have   
   an editor already... he just happens to be my husband, that's all.
