   I prefer to have some things I agree with absorbed into my subconscious.   
   Or even the opposite of what I disagree with.

   I'm with you there.   
      
   On the other hand, I can think of some things in my stories where I   
   wonder if anyone else sees it. But I think I'd more ask a 'did you see   
   ...' or notice someone's comment implying they didn't see whatever.

   Thinking of the bit in question that I am trying to forget, maybe a   
   confused silence in response is at least a nicer response than those   
   questions would prompt. :)   
      
   (You know those images that people say are on the internet that you   
   can't un-see? Well, I keep forgetting them, and I know I looked at them   
   once or twice at least. Text however, man, can someone please invent a   
   scrub-your-brain-of-images-it-made-up-from-reading, please? I don't want   
   an image of a sick kitten in my head.)
