I       wonder if you're confusing Facebook Friends with people who want to access       your "page?"       >       > I have only 65 "Facebook Friends," but I have met "in the flesh" with 80%       of them.       >               Author Pages actually don't have "friends". They have followers. An       individual on FB can have friends; if you just type in the name and get       to their page, there should be a big green button that says "Add Friend"       on it. If you don't see that, it's probably not a personal page.               And in general, no, not all your FB friends get your posts, especially       as you get more of them. FB has an algorithm that decides how many of       them actually get your posts. Now, if they're actually your friends and       physical acquaintances, it's likely that the 10% to 50% of them that see       YOUR post SHARE it, so that all or most of your friends end up seeing it       somehow, and probably then see that you posted it. But in fact, FB is       controlling how many people see your stuff, especially if you're trying       to advertise something. If you have five thousand people following, it's       quite possible that not even a thousand of them see each post.                            --        Sea Wasp        /^\        ;;;        Website: http://www.grandcentralarena.com Blog:       http://seawasp.livejournal.com              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
