It sounds good to me.       >       Well I used to think that stuff that had been hanging around for years       probably wouldn't go anywhere but I was stunned when you said your original       draft of your sold story predates most of my stuff. So that's a lesson.       You might remember the opening of the demon story. It came from an argument       here about starting in the wrong place. Unfortunately I think it does start in       the wrong place : )        My agent liked it but thought humour too hard a sell - there were other       problems too but none of them unfixable. I just put it to one side and wrote       something else.
