   I'm  not sure you would be doing them any favours. If someone isn't motivated   
   to write, the last thing I'd do is try to motivate them. Without passion   
   there's no point. I don't think there's anything intrinsically worthwhile   
   about novel writing, and    
   other uses of time are arguably much more useful.
