From: mdhangton@gmail.com              I will make a remark about wills that have exhaustive and specific       distributions of personal assets.       They are often a decade or more old by the time the author passes. When there       is a direct bequest of a shotgun or something, it is often absent when the       estate administrator looks for it. The decedent may have accumulated debts       and the estate is        insolvent; items that were bequeathed to people, especially large items like       homes, boats and automobiles, are then sold. The decedent may have been in an       eldercare situation for several years, and the government has seized or forced       the sale of most or        all of his assets, leaving his heirs with almost nothing. These are all       common situations. We assume it will never happen, but it is common that it       becomes impossible to carry out the terms of the will.              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
