   I spelled it a bit sloppily there--it's supposed to be PS/2. That's the   
   little round connector. If you have a KVM switch from more than a couple   
   of years ago (which sounds like what you're describing), that's probably   
   the port type it has.

   The company's called Unicomp, and they're best known for having   
   bought up the equipment to manufacture the old IBM Model M   
   keyboards. http://pckeyboard.com/ (prices have gone up a bit, or   
   maybe I just misremembered). They will do fully custom   
   keyboards, but I doubt they're cheap (they don't give an exact   
   price for that).
