   Something you would also want to research was sumptary laws - certain   
   colors or fabrics could only be worn by nobles or royalty, so you   
   wouldn't be bringing them out if you were in the average town market.   
   In fact I'm not sure how the vendors managed that one - by appointment,   
   maybe?   
      
   And now here I sit visualizing the King in neon pink and yellow   
   polkadots.  The Horror!  The Horro!
