   I enjoyed acting (I have a couple trophies from high school and Kawanis   
   Festival gold cirtificate... wow that seems like a long time ago), but I   
   like watching plays too. I think my preference for Shakespeare is to   
   read it first and then see it.   
      
   I really liked reading the Tempest, but I just wasn't that enthused with   
   the one production of it I've seen. Didn't like the interpretation of   
   Ariel, didn't like the interpretation of Caliban, thought Prospero   
   couldn't have been better, etc.   
      
   I haven't given up on it though. I'd be quite willing to try a   
   different production with a different director. :)
