   If somebody does it a couple times nobody's gonna notice.  If you do it so   
   much people associate your name with fanfic, media-based fiction, movie   
   novelizations, and so forth, then some people will avoid everything with your   
   name on it.  I cannot support    
   this with statistical data; all I can say is that I do.
