   And it is certainly the case that cats and dogs can live happily   
   together, if they've been brought up together, and that there are   
   humans who are happy with that combination.  Others, not so much.   
   I would hate to have to take a dog outside to eliminate at   
   regular intervals, and as far as I know dogs can't be taught to   
   use litterboxes.
