   I've had too many stories rejected because of some first (slush) reader or an   
   editor not being familiar technical or scientific words.   
      
   And if professionals in the publishing world don't know a word, you can bet   
   they're thinking the average reader won't know it either.   
      
   I try to stay away from such words.
