East St Paul (ESP) Speculative Fiction Writers Meetup
   Tuesday, June 9, 2015 7:00 PM to 9:30 PM
Davannis Pizza and Hot Hoagies -- East Side
310 White Bear Ave, Saint Paul, MN

We're back in the party room with our food and manuscripts.
For our June Meetup, we will once again be doing a Flash Fiction exercise. The
topic is New Beginnings or Rebirth--so get those creative juices flowing! The
word limit is 500 words to encourage you to use ruthless editing skills. We've
   had some really
great readings in previous Flash Fiction exercises and it's always great fun.

To allow time for the readings, we will accept just one item for critique in
June, first come, first served. The standard guidelines are....

   World/Future Building
   Sunday, June 14, 2015 11:00 AM to 12:00 N
Lunds Market (Uptown)1450 West Lake Street, Minneapolis, MN

We will be meeting in the loft area to the left when facing the elevator doors
upstairs. Dragons must be on leashes.

If you would like to get opinions on how a particular scene or scenes come
across to the reader, submit up to 1000 words by uploading a .doc, .rtf or
.pdf file to "Files" under "More" on the above menu bar. Identify your file
   for April Worldbuilding and
explain what you would like to know, be it general or specific.

During the meeting each person (participation is optional) will have one
minute to relate their thoughts about each submission. Submitters and
critiquers can always follow up in more depth after the meeting. Since we have
only 45 minutes, we'll have to
   stick to the "speed-dating" format.
