   I think I see the problem here.   
      
   The Grinder's stats only apply to the Grinder.  MANY people don't report their   
   submissions to the Grinder.   
      
   Ask any writers you know if they report to, or even know of the Grinder.   
      
   After I entered a link to the Grinder into my blog's Science Fiction article,   
   many of my readers entered "Thank You" into the article's comment form.  They   
   didn't know of the Grinder.   
      
   In fact, I myself never heard of the Grinder until not long ago, and I've been   
   submitting stories for more than a dozen years!  And I've been in   
   communication with many other SF writers since 1997!
