   I was disabused of that when I, having discovered /French/ COBOL and hearing   
   of a similar German COBOL, asked how it was handled.   
      
   "Not imperative verbs - and all COBOL verbs are imperative".   
      
   (Simple pre-processor if anyone wonders about implementation).
