   I'm maybe a third of the way through a space opera set on and   
   around 4 Vesta, in a future sufficiently far that nobody   
   remembers how they terraformed Mars and Venus in the old days.   
   (I may have mentioned this place, back in the day.)   
      
   I found myself writing a chapter in which the protagonist (an   
   engineer) spends *The Entire Chapter* helping the security head   
   of a largish corporation improve her online security, which   
   includes the use of battle-bots.  Page after page of software and   
   hardware.  Nobody but Hal would ever be willing to read it.  So   
   I've split it into three chapters (each covering the working   
   hours of one day) and now I need to figure out what the hell the   
   protagonist is going to do during the rest of those three days.   
   I know what he does after that, but first I must catch my   
   rabbits.
