Well, it's been a long time. Hal (Wilson Heydt) hasn't had
USENET access for years and years. He and I are both retired and
living with our daughter, son-in-law, and ten-year-old grandson.
He's playing with the Raspberry Pi, of which you may have heard:
a small computer board (before peripherals are added, it's the
size of a credit card) that's designed to allow students to learn
programming, and costs $35.00. I'm still writing a bit, not
getting published, so I've put some of my books up on my website
   (see .sig below).

USENET is slowly dying, though rec.arts.sf.written is still
moderately active. People are doing blogs and forums, of which
   there are zillions.

But welcome back. Sounds as if you have been very busy and
   productive. Good for you.
