   	If we're going to revive this group, might as well start...   
      
   	After quite a few books, Baen's decided to let me go. While many of my   
   books earned out, none of them went gangbusters. My last solo novel with   
   Baen came out last year, _Princess Holy Aura_, my take on the magical   
   girl genre.   
      
   	There's one more Castaway book coming (_Castaway Peril_) and another   
   collaboration novel tentatively titled _Fenrir_. After that, barring any   
   surprises, Ryk E. Spoor will only be a Baen author in the back catalogue.   
      
   	_Demons of the Past: Revelation_ and _French Roast Apocalypse_ (first   
   in the Fall of Veils series) came out from Double Dragon this year, but   
   Double Dragon encountered some issues and then I got a much better offer   
   from Eric Flint's Ring of Fire Press, so Ring of Fire will be publishing   
   the rest of Demons of the Past and of Fall of Veils. I also expect   
   they'll be publishing my superhero novel _Legend_.   
      
   	Currently, I'm also working on _Godswar_, which takes place in the same   
   universe as the Phoenix books, but features Kyri's Aunt Victoria, her   
   sister Urelle, and the bodyguards they'd hired for the trip from Evanwyl   
   to Zarathanton, Ingram Camp-Bel and the Iriistiik Quester.
