I don't know how much commenting I'll be able to do for the next
while: I just had cataract surgery and, while it went very well,
I have to adjust to having much better distance vision and much
worse close-up vision. Hal took me to the drugstore and bought
me a pair of reading glasses (plus 3.25 diopters, the strongest
they had), and I can *sort of* see to type.

I should be much better in a month or so, when I'll be fitted
with new glasses as needed. In the meantime, I can *read* posts,
if I wear the glasses and get my nose around six inches from the
screen, and I'll read all your posts and see if I have anything
   to contribute.
