What will happen to a horse if it isn't put away properly? Can it       eat if it still has a bit in        its mouth?       >       >       >              I haven't been around a horse in a long time, but I would think       the answer is 'no'. That bit, if I remember properly, is a rod       that is put into the horse's mouth and goes behind the teeth.       The horse is often irritated by the bit and, from what I       remember, is often chewing on it as a result. That would       suggest a fairly robust item. I suspect that the bit is       basically large enough to block food going into the horse's       mouth. Drinking might be an option, however.              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
