   But, but, but, that would mean no more responses to alt.tv.simpsons   
   posts made 30 years earlier.   
      
   I was looking forward to multi-generation threads, in which person   
   A posts, person B replies decades later, then person A's grandchild   
   replies after a few more decades, then person B's great-grandchild   
   responds after another half century.
