   Aldrete (of the "Great Courses" course "A Historian Goes to the   
   Movies: Ancient Rome" (see above) has written a book GESTURES AND   
   ACCLAMATIONS IN ANCIENT ROME which I may be able to read on   
   archive.org if it ever comes back up.  (The claim is that it is up   
   in read-only mode, which apparently means I cannot log in to
