|    Time Bomb by Wilson Tucker    |

XPost: rec.arts.sf.written       From: kludge@panix.com              I have recently discovered Wilson Tucker's work and am surprised I had not       encountered him before and that so little of his material has been reprinted.              Time Bomb is a mystery. It takes place during a time when a populist       is starting to set up for a takeover of the American government in an       attempt to become dictator. This may sound familiar to some. But in this       case, a number of his supporters have fallen victim to strange untraceable       explosions.... or... maybe implosions. A police telepath is brought out to       investigate and can't figure out exactly what is goine on, but he suspects       somehow the operation of an actual time machine. Lieutenant Danforth of       the Security Police investigates.              I think this is very much a book for our time if only because of the       background situation. The scince in it is pretty doubtful at best, but       the characters and situations work well. Recommended.       --scot              --       "C'est un Nagra.
