iPhone? I thought you guys were talking about the iPod being
difficult/impossible to replace the battery on. Of course you can easily
swap out an iPhone for a new one...it is all part of the lifecycle of that
product. Buy it. Use it. The battery explodes to let you know it is time
to get a new phone. get a new phone when you turn in the burnt husk of the
   old one. ;-)

Serious question: Other than maybe ring tones, you won't really lose much
investment when swapping out a phone, but if you need to go buy a new iPod,
will you lose all its contents?
