   Big, yes, whoop no. Replacing the battery for my MP3 player is about $3   
   (amortized, since rechargeable AAAs come in packs of four that cost   
   $10-12 and the player uses only one). Users of iPods are paying about 26   
   *times* that from the sound of it.   
      
   Oh, and there's no evil product lock-in or DRM inside my MP3 player.
