   Nope.  Some things you can swipe, but characters, no.  Jerome Bixby   
   tried to have the Mirror Universe deemed a 'character' so they'd have to   
   pay him for futher adventures in it, but AFAIK didn't prevail.

   As much as i liked Forbes, I'm sort of glad this happened; I bet if they   
   had Forbes they would have cast somebody else as Dax - Forbes and   
   Farrell are way too similar.  And I liked Farrell as Dax.  A lot.
