   I wouldn't call anything but the TV shows and movies canon. (Though with   
   inconsistencies between the shows and the movies, between the series,   
   *inside* each series, and between the movies, what is canon is what you   
   call it.)   
      
   For myself, I do accept parts of The Animated Series as canon (in   
   particular, "Yesteryear"), but I recognize that my acceptance is not   
   universal (or even Paramount, but I digress).
