   Well, we don't know how long they've been using the machine. It's   
   possible people have been going back since long before their sun started   
   acting up, and certainly the 'if you try to come back you'll die' is a   
   useful thing to tell political prisoners you're stranding, but I still   
   think stranding political prisoners in the past is pretty damn stupid,   
   'cause I know damn well that I'd be using my knowledge of the future to   
   mess you up.
