Unfortunately he's right -- he's quite serious. Anim needs to see a
doctor that specializes in prescribing psychoactive substances, if you
   know what I mean.

Everyone knows that Picard was completely not responsible for Locutus's
actions, for starters, but that doesn't stop Anim making ludicrous
remarks about how Picard (not to mention Janeway and Sisko) are mass
   murderers.

My theory: he secretly hates anything labeled as Star Trek that isn't
TOS with Shatner, Nimoy, et. al. as the actors.

As he put it himself, in his .sig for quite a while: "no Shat, no show".

See? If he was talking about 9/11, climate change, or American Idol
instead of about Star Trek they'd lock him up in a funny farm somewhere
and throw away the key! Or give him his own half hour on either a left
wing podcast or a right wing radio show. I'm not sure which.
