This thread is very old already. But Geordi told 100% "like Data". In fact,   
   Data can age in appearance if he wants that. He has an aging program inside.   
   For those with hearing problems: The DVD's with the TNG episodes wich you can   
   buy at Amazon today,    
   also contain subtitles. And also the subtitles say "like Data". It is also   
   translated like that in other languages, e.g. in German. I don't think that so   
   many translation errors can happen in one episode. People shall live with the   
   fact that Data ages.    
   In this way, Gene Roddenberry made Data in later movies possible. I think that   
   Gene Roddenberry was a genius that he has put that fact in one earlier TNG   
   episode (7x10).
