   Its my understanding that Vulcan's sun emits more ultraviolet radiation than   
   Earth's sun.  Therefore, ALL Vulcans should have dark skin to protect from   
   sunburn!  Its my understnding that sunburn protection is why dark-skins   
   evolved in the tropics.
