   It's already been established in Matt Smith's second season and the SJAs   
   that the moon landings did happen and that Liz Shaw was stationed on a   
   UNIT base on the moon.

   Nonsense. All the rock formations, craters, seas, and markings on the   
   moon are exactly the same before the moon hatches into a giant space   
   dragon which flies away with 90% of the moon's mass and after the moon   
   reforms looking exactly the same as it did before and with all of the   
   missing mass coming back out of nowhere. On top of that everyone on the   
   space shuttle is slammed to the ground during free fall as if their   
   weight had massively increased instead of being completely weightless.   
   This entire story defies all belief and therefore nothing from that   
   point onwards can be considered to be canon.
