   That's because such a claim is inherently unprovable.   
      
   If there are parallel universes that humans can travel to and exist in   
   then the laws of physics have to be common to all of them. If we can't   
   exist in them then they might as well not exist. If we can communicate   
   with them then they must obey common laws of physics.   
      
   Conservation of energy/mass must always be valid. Newton's first law   
   must also be always valid. Kill the Moon violates both and no   
   explanation whatsoever for that is given.
