   Correct, but was it established anywhere that the *episode in question* 100%   
   happened in the same dimension as the moon landings, Liz Shaw being   
   stationed on the Moon, etc.?

   So I do not believe it is likely that the events of Kill the Moon happened in   
   a different dimension, universe, or timeline but it is the only way to explain   
   the events of that episode without dismissing it as non-canonical -- the   
   latter which I am inclined to do.
