From: agamemnon@hello.to.NO_SPAM              Once again I will review the most recent two episodes of TWBLS together       since once again they were shown back-to-back.              Once again the writing and directing is the most horrendous, amateurish,       childish, and insulting I have ever seen, and consists of nothing more       than a thin veil for a woke lecture filled with unsubstantiated lies and       propaganda and utter hatred for humanity.              I'm will review this story written by Pete McTighe and devised by Russel       T Davies in comparison to The Abyss directed by James Cameron since both       deal with a voyage to the deepest depths of the ocean and confrontation       with an aquatic alien threat.              As before, in comparison to Interstellar, while one is well written with       the writer evoking man's innate ability to confront threat and danger by       using science, logic, reason, and his ingenuity to engineer solutions,       the other is pure degenerate woke lecturing expressing the writers'       utter hatred and contempt for humanity and spreading downright lies,       mistruths, and misinformation, using science fiction as as a means to       capture an existing audience and indoctrinate them with a one sided       false narrative which overwhelms everything, resulting in the most       appalling, infantile, and totally horrendous and insulting writing I       have ever witnessed by a clueless and talentless soap opera hack and       political play-write who is incapable of writing any better then an       undedicated infant who doesn't understand that the cubes are supposed to       fit in the square holes, the wedges in the triangular holes, the       cylinders into the round holes, and the stars into the star shaped holes.              One story tackles the challenge of diving to the deepest depths beneath       the ocean and seeing what's down there. The other attacks humanity and       has people bickering with each other just to create interpersonal       conflict with no relation to the attempt made at including a plot       because the writers, Davies and McTighe, can only write degenerate soap       opera and degenerate political messages.              Instead of concentrating on the scientific and engineering challenges of       constructing a submersible capable of reaching a depth of more than 5       miles beneath the Atlantic ocean and how humans can breath outside of a       pressurised vessel in those conditions, as was done in The Abyss, this       rubbish is centred on trivial mindless soap opera.              The Woke Between the Land and the Sea is filled with nothing but       infantile behaviour by people who appear totally inept and incompetent       at the task they have been assigned and which is totally irrelevant to       the issues which have been brought up earlier.              A capable submersible has already been miraculously constructed despite       the previous episode saying that no such technology existed and       breathing apparatus also miraculously appears ready to go. Everything       which would have made the story meaningful and educational is left out       because the writers are completely degenerate inept hacks who don't       understand the genre of science fiction or how to question or discuses       anything properly.              Almost the entirety of the first episode is spent watching characters,       including the British PM, a crooked far-right business men, and an       American general from earlier on, depicted like a bunch of morons       arguing around a table, at a Cobra meeting at No. 10 Downing Street       instead of consulting experts, bringing in other party leaders and       relevant ministers and civil servants, and talking to world leaders.       Another bunch of characters written as morons instead of specialists       spends the whole time arguing in the submersible about completely       irrelevant personal issues.              In the meantime the scenes depicting these morons are intercut with       shorter scenes of Kate Stewart in completely meaningless and irrelevant       situations with UNIT and the gay actor playing her toyboy, who must be       at least 20 years younger than her and probably younger than her own       daughter whose existence is mentioned in the following episode but never       explained, written by soap opera writers who don't understand romance or       character development, which fail to drive the plot along in any way.              This whole story has been written by infants playing with random pieces       of an incomplete pieces of a jigsaw puzzle they don't understand how to       put together in any meaningful manner.              There is no world building whatsoever centred around UNIT's relevancy,       function, or position in the world order, to explain why anyone should       take any orders whatsoever from it, especially given it's totally       incompetent leader. Who does it answer to? Since when did it have       authority to function independently of state government control? The UN       does not and has never operated in such away which is analogous to a       totalitarian military regime. No wonder it didn't want UNIT to be       associated with it since 2005.              The meaningless soap opera continues until, eventually, after the fish       lizards intercept the submersible and take it to their lair, none of       which is even shown (the BBC must have run out of money), some moron       from the sub explodes a bomb killing everyone around him including his       companions and some of the fish lizards, but the principle moron played       by Russell Tovey is saved by the female gender swapping fish lizard by       pushing him into the water of the 5 mile deep Deep Ocean Trench they       have travelled to and kissing him.              He should have been crushed by the water pressure around him unless he       was breathing liquid instead of air as seen in The Abbys, and if not by       that by the bends when resurfacing at the speed he was accelerating       upwards at, if the writers had the faintest clue.              After this the fish lizard and Tovey are retrieved by UNIT and the fish       lizard incarcerated.              During it's incarceration a deep fake video is posted of the fish lizard       threatening humanity.              Next a Greek mercenary attempts to assassinate Kate Stewart whose gay       toyboy boyfriend no one cares about is killed saving Kate's life along       with other members of UNIT who attempt to stop him causing further harm.              Is this why the files were stolen from UNIT and given to the crooked       far-right businessman in the first two episodes or is is that to do with       something else?              At this point I totally lost the plot. BECAUSE THERE ISN'T ONE!              Then the British PM, for no reason, is seen ordering the murder of some       businessman who is a former friend of his connected with the       assassination attempt on Kate, in order to save his bacon because of his       connection with him, or something. Like I said, I totally lost the plot       at this point. None if this character behaviour is justified at all by       the writer.                     [continued in next message]              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
