   The fish lizard is to be taken to be experimented on or dissected to   
   create a sonic weapon or something to use against her species, but Tovey   
   rescues her by commandeering and then hijacking the truck her cage is   
   loaded onto and driving it backwards into the Thames, and after Tovey   
   jumps in after her they both escape together, using her magic powers,   
   another kiss, or something.   
      
   In a competent military described by competent writers Tovey should not   
   have been allowed anywhere near the fish lizard given his association   
   with her/them let alone retained command over the people assigned to   
   UNIT transport to be able to commandeer the vehicle after he was   
   reassigned as ambassador.   
      
   Then as everyone was expecting since the show was announced it all turns   
   into bestiality, with more kissing and explicit sex between Tovey and   
   the female presenting fish lizard being suggested at.   
      
   At about this point more fish lizards, this time male presenting ones,   
   emerge from the tunnel under the Thames and demand the female presenting   
   fish lizard be handed over to them since she is now a traitor and public   
   enemy for saving Tovey.   
      
   After making love to the female presenting fish lizard, Tovey, the   
   imbecilic moron, and now bestialist, calls his ex-wife, who he knows and   
   explicitly states is being monitored, on his daughter's other mobile   
   phone that he once gave her, which he thinks the British military don't   
   know about, but anyone with any sense would have guessed they would be   
   holding both under house arrest for being associated with a fugitive who   
   helped an enemy of humanity.   
      
   Tovey then asks his ex to give him her car, as if the military doesn't   
   know the registration, so he can drive the fish lizard to north Wales   
   where they can hide out with friends, visit the lakes, and he and the   
   fish lizard can have babies or lay eggs, start a new family, and live   
   happily ever after.   
      
   He tells his ex-wife to drive the car to Westminster Bridge where he   
   will be waiting for her, as if the British military wouldn't be   
   following her, which they not only are, since they are holding her in   
   custody, but so are UNIT.   
      
   The car stops on the bridge, Tovey and the fish lizard appear, and the   
   military swoop on them.   
      
   The American general orders the British soldiers to fire upon Tovey and   
   the fish lizard (chain of command doesn't work like that, a General   
   cannot order enlisted men to do anything, only their direct commander   
   can do that through the chain of command can) and Kate Stewart, after   
   just finding out the the female presenting fish lizard's message to   
   humanity was a Deep Fake, orders the UNIT soldiers to fire on the   
   British soldiers (once again chain of command requires that order to go   
   through the whole chain of command one by one, where it can be refused).   
      
   This incompetent woman previously released a monster into the UNIT   
   control room, putting everyone's life in danger, out of her hatred for   
   men, so don't believe that her actions were motivated by the death of   
   her lover. McTighe doesn't have a clue how to write and develop   
   characters in a believable and realistic manner.   
      
   Before both militaries can fire on each other the fish lizard freezes   
   them all by making a high pitched scream and Tovey saves the fish lizard   
   by pushing her into the Thames to swim away.   
      
   Absolute garbage written by a clueless soap opera writer given a list of   
   not well cut out jigsaw pieces to fit into the story (probably with the   
   help of AI by the look of it), not knowing how to do that by either   
   altering the content so that it fits together properly or constructing   
   the essential more important missing pieces to link the existing ones   
   together. What he does instead is to insert his degenerate hatred for   
   humanity and political messaging along with that of RTD into everything,   
   which is padded out by totally irrelevant drivelsome soap opera, with no   
   plot driven character development or character driven plot development   
   whatsoever, because he's a totally clueless hack that doesn't understand   
   how to write well.   
      
   It can now be clearly deduced that Tovey's repulsive looking obese   
   daughter doesn't belong in this story at all. Her role of having a spare   
   mobile phone could have easily been given to Tovey's ex, who could have   
   easily been cut out of this story entirely as well, since there is no   
   purpose in having this relationship as there was with the relationship   
   between the main protagonist in The Abyss and his ex-wife played by Mary   
   Elizabeth Mastrantonio because whereas in The Abyss the two characters   
   stood a chance of getting back together due to plot based character   
   development, there is no reason why the viewer should expect Tovey to   
   get back with his ex-wife given their behaviour towards each other and   
   his love for the fish lizard.   
      
   Tovey need not have been written as a totally incompetent imbecilic   
   moron by instead having him hire a car from one of the people he usually   
   hires cars for UNIT from in his usual job, as a favour, and have that   
   car being traced though the IT records being hacked.   
      
   The BBC must learn that soap opera hacks and political play-writes   
   should be allowed nowhere near science fiction. Why can't it give   
   opportunities to writers based on merit and competence in the genre the   
   are writing for and not their political beliefs?   
      
   Garbage is what it's about and garbage is what this series has been   
   proven to be once again.
