   Just WTF has happened to RTD though? Nobody is expecting much   
   from him now. In 2005 he was writing entertaining stuff and   
   Doctor Who was massive... now, twenty years on he writes badly   
   plotted derivative nonsense that few people want to watch. Our   
   expectations are lower than a Dachshund's bollocks.   
      
   Were we too over-enthusiastic back in 2005 because Doctor Who   
   was back? Would anything have done us just to see the show we   
   loved back on our screens? Or has RTD just become old and sad   
   with nothing left in his creative tank, and only his past   
   glories to keep reliving?   
      
   Or maybe we have got older and can now see him as the old hack   
   he is and are bored with his offerings as there is so much   
   better/fresher stuff out there?
