   If you wanted RTD to waste the small amount of episodes   
   he had to deal with other people's unwise ideas then yes,   
   he did have a chance.   
      
   Obviously he wasn't as fixated about it all as you are and   
   just thought people would ignore the stuff they didn't like   
   from past eras of the show and move on...
