   Hmm!! Wasn't there a Hollywood film about the Gulf Stream shutting down   
   .... and the impact that would have had on The World??   
      
   And (On Topic for alt.usage.english) the Gulf Stream collapsing wouldn't   
   give us Global *Warming* would it?? Climate Change, sure, but not   
   'Global Warming'.
