   Yes! Finnish has lots of Germanic loanwords, although this particular word   
   probably goes back to Latin: caupo 'innkeeper'. Note also Swedish köping   
   'market town', cf. Linköping, Norrköping, etc. > Finnish kaupunki 'city';   
   Proto-Germanic *skauniz 'beautiful', Visigothic skauns, Swedish skön,   
   German schön, English sheen; Finnish kaunis 'beautiful'.
