   To be honest, I can't say whether it's blindingly obvious to   
   me or not, since I've been aware of the origin as long as   
   I've been familiar with the term; the most I can say is that   
   when it's used as it most often is in the U.S., I don't   
   automatically think of the origin, because I know what the   
   term actually means.
