   I was going to say you can, but then I realised I'd misread it as   
   culling out the stories *not good enough* in order to send them back to   
   the author. And I suspect that the negative sense of "cull" influenced   
   my misreading. So... now I'm not sure. I think it'd be odd to use   
   "cull" in such a positive sense, at least.
